The neighboring historic Stove Prairie Ranch and Stove Prairie School both established in 1896 are also at the beginning of this historic road.Construction on The Villa began in 2007 and was completed in 2009, with the entire residence built out of full-thickness granite that was handpicked on the property. This Italian-inspired work of art is composed of various artifacts, some dating back 2,000 years. Maintaining an affinity for the arts, the structure includes a third-floor art room with ample natural light and picturesque views. It honors the traditional villas of the Renaissance, and its connection with nature is evident in all the windows framing the surrounding landscape. The Villa sits on an expansive 35 acres and is luxury at its finest, blending art and function with two elevators, 14-foot-tall arched ceilings and German wood-framed windows that open and tip with dual hinges. A 32-foot-long indoor pool and lounge area offer spaces to relax and recharge, while the private office and library with a wet bar inspire creativity and productivity.A formal dining room invites guests to stay awhile, with a separate serving entrance from the kitchen through the bottle room. Off the main gourmet kitchen is an auxiliary kitchen that leads to separate living quarters. Multiple entertaining and living spaces have radiant in-floor heating for optimal comfort.
